CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Erskine College women’s volleyball team (6-17, 2-11 CC) defeated Johnson & Wales University (4-24) in straight sets at the JWU Wildcat Center on Tuesday night.
The Fleet hit a season-high .316 as a team and got production from throughout the roster, with ten different Erskine players tallying a kill.

THE PLAYER
Sophomore outside hitter Becca Yohe played just two sets, but had the joint-most kills in the match with 6 kills on just 9 swings, good for a .556 hitting percentage. Yohe also added two aces, a block, a dig, and an assist to help lead the Fleet to a road sweep.
THE TEAM
Erskine hit a season-high .316 (30 K / 6 E / 76 A) for the match, while limiting JWU to a negative hitting percentage. The Fleet totaled three blocks and held an impressive 7 to 3 advantage in aces.

Erskine resumes conference play with a road trip to Southern Wesleyan University (8-11, 5-8 CC) on Saturday at noon.
